% of housing supported (excluding TO JUMP)

Number of housing units supported, excluding TO JUMPunits owned divided by the total number of social housing units owned, as reported in the 2021 report SDR.

% of housing for the elderly

Number of senior housing units, including nursing homes, units owned divided by total number of social housing units owned, as reported in 2021 report SDR.

Large scale voluntary transfer


A supplier has been defined as a LSVT if the total number of units transferred into the entity represents more than 50% of their current corporate stock; otherwise, they were defined as traditional.

Date of the most important transfer

For suppliers defined as LSVT. When there has been more than one transfer in an entity, it gives the date of the largest transfer, by rental stock, following the RSH records of stock transfers.


Uses date of largest transfer to tape LSVT entities by age. The three slices used are 12 years


Region with more than 50% of the social stock held

Defined as the region where the provider holds more than 50% of its social housing stock, as reported in the 2021 Statistical Data Statement (SDR); if no such region exists, the provider is defined as “mixed”.

Annual Hours and Earnings Survey Regional Earnings Index (England = 1)

An index calculated from data on the relative incomes of the administration and construction sectors at the regional level ASHE for 2021 and information on social housing units owned by region, as reported in the SDR. The English average is 1.
